Privacy Policy

Krillion Unlimited is built to need as little personal data as possible. You do not need an account, and the game stores its records on your own device.

What we collect

We do not ask you for your name, email address or any account details to play. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and we use it only to reply.

What stays in your browser

The game uses your browser's local storage to remember your progress. This data never leaves your device unless you share or save it yourself. The keys we use are:

• ku_run: the progress of your current round.
• ku_stats: your My dives statistics, such as best depths and tier counts.
• ku_log: your 20 most recent answers.
• ku_misses: answers the game did not recognise, so you can review them.
• ku_open: which answer sections you opened on the daily pages, by date.
• ku_hints: which hint steps you opened, by date.
• ku_settings: timer length, sound and theme.
• ku_save_off: a reminder that you dismissed the install prompt for 30 days.

You can share, save as a text file or clear these records from the My dives panel, or by clearing site data in your browser.

How the daily pages are made

Daily answers are collected when the site is built, not when you visit. Your browser does not contact any third-party answer site. The fonts are hosted on this site, so no font provider sees your visit.

Cookies and analytics

The site itself does not set cookies. If Google Analytics is switched on, it may set cookies to measure how many people visit and which pages are useful. We load it only after you interact with the page, and we use it to understand usage in aggregate. You can block analytics with your browser settings or a content blocker.

Advertising

We may show ads through Google AdSense in the future. If we do, Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's ad settings or at aboutads.info. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used.

Third-party links

Pages link to other sites, including the official Krillion game at krillion.io and share targets such as social networks. We do not control those sites and their privacy practices are their own.

Children

The site is general-audience trivia and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold almost no personal data, this will usually mean only your email correspondence. Contact us at the address on the contact page and we will respond.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
